La Fassina. Unique to Caves Avinyó, set on the border of Avinyonet del Penedès, enjoying fertile soils, deep and well-drained, with a silty clay loam texture, and thanks to the privileged location it benefits from a higher rainfall regime than our other vineyards. The plot is settled in a low-lying area, protected from the easterly Levant winds, making it the perfect location to grow the Pinot Noir from which we make our Blanc de Noirs cava.This fine sparkler could easily be mistaken for a high-end Champagne.
Tasting Note:
Straw-yellow colour with green hues and soft bubbles, aromas of ripe sour fruit (apple), with floral and varietal touches typical of Pinot Noir, creamy on the palate with cherry and citrus flavours and a sweet texture.
