Dunville's is the famous old brand that was once made in Belfast's Royal Irish Distillery. Sadly the distillery was one of many to falter in the mid-1900s and it looked as if Dunville's had disappeared permanently. Fortunately it has been resurrected by the Echlinville Distillery who are the proud owners of this historical whiskey and a number of other brands. 

A superb addition to the Dunville's core range, Dunville's Oloroso is an exciting 20 Year Old Single Malt that most recently picked up Best Irish Single Malt 16 Years and Older at the Irish Whiskey Awards 2022. 

Bottled at 46% without chill-filtration. 

Tasting Notes:
The quality of the Oloroso casks takes centre stage. Balanced and complex, viscous, well-structured and restrained. Fresh red fruits give way to darker stewed fruits, prunes, dates and raisins. Candied orange peel, warm spiced ginger cake, toasted nuts, lead to a long mellowing finish of mulled fruits and vanilla Chantilly cream.
