After a 17-year hiatus, Loimer reintroduced two sparkling wines to the range in 2015. Both are Austrian sekt – made according to the champagne method. Brut Rosé, with its creamy bubbles and fresh character of forest strawberries, is a sure aperitif hit. Made from Zweigelt and Pinot Noir and Saint Laurent. Pressing of whole bunches, fermentation in steel tanks, where the wine is also stored for 6 months, until it undergoes bottle fermentation and storage for 18 months. The wine is dosed with 2 grams of sugar per ltr. and only sulphurized with 35 mg. l. (free sulphur).
