A very unique wine - made in Ireland by David Llewellyn, Ireland's first producer of sparkling wine. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with some Shiraz and Cabernet Franc. This wine is Lusca's 2022 vintage, their first true 'blanc' sparkling wine. It was aged 15 months on lees in bottle , before disgorging. 12g/l dosage, to balance the naturally brisk acidity of the wine
Clear white in colour with the faintest hint of salmon. On the nose there are notes of fresh brioche and gently roasted almonds. On the palate the wine has hints of fresh grapefruit and kumquat, with undertones of biscuits and brioche. A delicious fresh and zesty sparkling wine, perfect with seafood or white meat dishes prepared with a rich creamy sauce.
